We have a full roof of solar panels with power generation of over 150 KW. This power generation is twice what we use for our plant – therefore the other half is put back on the grid, reducing our carbon footprint.
PackEdge is one of the largest paperboard recyclers in our area! The waste (edges) of cartons is bundled up and sent to recycling centers where it’s made into recycled material for more cartons. On average, we recycle over 120 tons of paperboard a year, resulting in very little waste. Our products are also an eco-friendly substitute for plastic packaging. Besides being less frustrating to open, paperboard is biodegradable and easier to recycle – better for the environment. All of our products are proudly made in Connecticut and backed by the highest level of customer service available.
